Jerry Davenport

Jerry Davenport is a self-employed professional planner whose firm specializes in designing geographical information systems. In addition to his present duties, Mr. Davenport has prepared plans for communities not only in McHenry County but also throughout the country. As a professional, Mr. Davenport is well acquainted with the planning process and contends his strong “…analytically organized approach” and consensus building interpersonal style will be a benefit to the County. Mr. Davenport enjoys the County’s parks and recreational resources, small-town centers and rail access to Chicago. He dislikes traffic, environmental degradation, expensive housing, high taxes and big administration.

On a personal note, Mr. Davenport coaches youth baseball; he currently resides in McHenry.
