( Woodstock, Illinois)—On Wednesday, 10 October 2007 the Intergovernmental Coordination Subcommittee, which is comprised of five of the fourteen members of the McHenry County Regional Planning Commission, will host the first of a series of round-table discussions with County municipalities. With the help of the McHenry County Council of Governments, the cities of Harvard and Marengo, the villages of Bull Valley, Hebron and Union have been invited to this meeting which is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Administration Building’s Conference Room A. This is a public meeting and all are invited to attend.
On Thursday, 11 October 2007 the entire Regional Planning Commission will host another round-table discussion with the Planning and Zoning Directors from Walworth and Kenosha Counties. Although regulated by differing state statutes, many common elements are shared with McHenry County’s two northern neighbors. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. This is a public meeting and all are invited to attend.
