***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***
( Woodstock, Illinois) – Today, the McHenry County Regional Planning Commission is proud to announce the launch of its website, which will track the progress and development of the McHenry County 2030 Land Use Plan. The recently seated Commission will use the website as a communicative, tracking, and educational tool.
The website (www.McHenryCounty2030Plan.com) already has calendars containing meeting schedules, agendas and minutes. The Commission plans on having commissioner bios, subcommittee write-ups, and a special “planning 101” feature available shortly.
Visitors to the website will be able to check on meeting dates, read minutes and sign up for a special email notification system, which will provide notification when the website is updated.
The Commission is excited to provide the public with the “planning 101” feature which will provide monthly lessons in long range land use planning. The feature will walk users through the entire planning process including formulation, implementation and execution. The “planning 101” feature will launch next month.
